Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced LPN in Patient Accommodation to support our hospital operations. You will manage bed placement for non-emergent admissions and coordinate transfers with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires an active LPN license, BLS certification, and strong communication and organizational skills. You will also uphold patient demographics and financial information accuracy while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in Nursing or completion of LPN program required.
• Active LPN license required, BLS required.
• At least 5 years recent and broad clinical experience preferred.
• MS Office proficiency and computer literacy.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Highlights:

Summary : The LPN - Patient Accommodation shall be responsible to ensure the daily operations of the department. This individual will secure bed placement to admit non-emergent patients and to work collaboratively with other disciplines and departments to ensure the appropriate bed assignment and transfer arrangements are made. The LLPN will promote positive customer service skills while ensuring that all patient demographics and financial information is accurate. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Nursing or completion of LPN program required. At least 5 years recent and broad clinical experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Active LPN license required, BLS required
