Summary: The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. The LPN will provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include the administration of medications, reporting patient symptoms and conditions to the RN, and for the LPN within Employee Health, conducting new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN. Additional duties may be assigned within the scope of the role.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Nursing or completion of an LPN program required.
Active LPN license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) may be required based on the department assigned.
