Job summary

Adventist HealthCare in Germantown seeks an experienced Patient Access Technician for the Outpatient Rehab Team. You will enroll patients, schedule appointments, and support the therapy team with administrative tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and 1–2 years of healthcare customer service experience. This is a full-time daytime position with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree in health-related field is preferred.
• Preferred 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing role in healthcare.

• Participate in tasks such as faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed.

As a Patient Access Technician, you will:

• Facilitate patient enrollment in outpatient programs through accurate capture of patient information (clinical and demographic) via electronic and paper means.
• Answer phones and perform scheduling functions courteously and promptly using customer-centered language.
• Assist the therapy team members with the delivery of hands-on care as directed and instructed
• Maintain the department cleanliness and supplies through cleaning, organizing, stocking, and ordering materials and supplies
• Participate in tasks such as faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualified candidates will possess:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred - Associate degree in health-related field
• Preferred 1-2 years' experience in a customer-facing role in healthcare

Pay Range:

• $19.21 - $24.90 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
