Job summary

Northwest Human Services, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Team Supervisor at the West Salem Clinic in Salem, OR. The role centers on leading the Patient Access staff to deliver excellent patient experiences and efficient clinic operations.

The supervisor will oversee staffing, training, performance monitoring, and quality improvement initiatives, collaborating with Clinic Operations Managers to support daily workflows and patient access services.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with training and evaluating staff.
  • Experience in high volume call center or customer service preferred.

  • Supervise, coach, and develop a high-performing Patient Access team.

PATIENT ASSESS TEAM SUPERVISOR

Location: West Salem Clinic | 1233 Edgewater Street NW, Salem OR 97304

Job Status: Non-Exempt

Hours: Monday – Friday with rotation Saturdays

POSITION OVERVIEW

As our Patient Access Team Supervisor, you will provide leadership and oversight for Patient Access staff, ensuring high-quality service, operational efficiency, and achievement of departmental goals. This role is responsible for staff supervision, training, performance monitoring, and quality improvement initiatives while partnering with Clinic Operations Managers to support daily clinic operations, optimize workflows, and enhance patient experience. The supervisor serves as a key resource for staff development, problem resolution, and continuous process improvement to ensure exceptional patient access services and organizational success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily patient access operations

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Minimum two years of medical office experience
  • Experience with training and evaluating staff
  • Experience in high volume call center or customer service preferred
