Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven, FL, is seeking a Patient Access Services Coordinator for the Imaging Department. The role supports front desk, registration, scheduling, financial counseling, bed control, cashiering, insurance, and document imaging to ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include resolving PAS issues, payroll support, and maintaining staffing schedules. The position may require shift rotation and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• HS Graduate or Equivalent GED required
• Associate's Degree preferred
• 3 years Related field

Title: Patient Access Services Coordinator

Facility: Winter Haven Hospital - Imaging Department

The Patient Access Service (PAS) Coordinator is responsible for:

• Performing functions in any or all of the following PAS modalities: Front Desk, Registration, Scheduling, Financial Counseling, Bed Control, Cashier, Insurance, and Document Imaging
• Proficient in all of the Patient Access Service modalities within the department
• Resolves PAS and customer service issues
• Processes payroll
• Maintains department staffing schedules
• Assists the manager in providing guidance and direction to the Patient Access Service Representatives
• May be required to rotate shifts, and occasionally takes on-call responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
