Alameda Health System is seeking an Eligibility Supervisor to plan, organize, and oversee the registration and admitting processes, ensuring eligibility and insurance verification precede service delivery. This role also supervises PBX personnel and coordinates department efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma with preferred Associate or Bachelor's degree and at least one year of supervisory experience in patient access. Strong training, reporting, and budgeting skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum Experience: One-year supervisory experience within a patient access department performing admitting/registration functions, cashiering, and healthcare billing OR 1-2 years leading supervisory work in a healthcare setting.

Responsabilités

• Plans, organizes and supervises Eligibility staff in the registration and admitting department.
• Supervises PBX personnel and ensures secured payer source before services.
• Attends meetings and coordinates with other hospital departments.
• Trains staff on regulations and new procedures.
• Prepares budget requests and controls unit expenditures.
