Job summary

Archbold Grady Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to lead the Patient Access Representatives, ensuring accurate registration, billing accuracy, and compliant workflows. The role emphasizes professional representation, workflow coordination, and adherence to institutional standards.

The ideal candidate will have a background in patient accounting, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to manage stress while maintaining a collaborative work environment.

Patient Access Supervisor — Archbold Grady Hospital

Description

Oversee Patient Access Representatives to ensure accurate registration, quality assurance, preadmissions, billing, accounts receivable, payments and adjustments, and collection. Maintain a professional image, coordinate workflow, and ensure compliance with institutional requirements.

Education and Experience

  • High School graduate or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum five years of experience in a patient accounting setting (preferred).

Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of third‑party billing registration criteria.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Above‑average analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and public‑relations skills.
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others.
  • Honesty and professional composure in public.
  • Availability for after‑hours on‑call rotation.

Physical Demands

Good physical and mental health. Able to work under supervision or independently, directed by the situation, and under stressful conditions.
