Job summary

NYU Langone Health in Las Vegas is seeking an Access Center Representative I to be the first welcome for callers on behalf of NYU Faculty Group Practice. You will schedule patient appointments, field inquiries, and provide accurate, efficient service to patients and callers.

The role emphasizes empathy, professionalism, and proactive patient care, with teamwork across the Access Center and Central Billing Office to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, plus 6 months+ Contact Center or Customer Service experience.
• Experience in an access/contact center scheduling environment is highly preferred.
• Bilingual Russian speaking is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to multi-channel inquiries from patients, physicians, employees, and other callers regarding appointments and services.
• Schedule appointments for NYU FGP specialties using physician protocols and meet performance goals.
• Research providers and practices to best meet the patient’s needs and document disposition.
• Enter patient information, verify insurance, and perform scheduling functions using Access Center applications.
