Job summary

CareMetx is seeking a Patient Access Consultant to manage reimbursement activities, claims submission, and patient assistance. You will interact with patients, providers, and client teams, ensuring timely resolutions and accurate information. The role requires 5+ years in related fields and strong Excel/analytical capabilities.

Schedule includes 11am–8pm; there is emphasis on accurate data handling, compliance, and coordination with field teams to support patients in accessing therapies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Five+ years of related experience in reimbursement or medical billing.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Extensive knowledge of pharmacy operations and medical claims.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a master of reimbursement activities, claims submission and status.
• Provide copay assistance, patient and provider support, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with field teams and clients to resolve denials and trends.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies; handle complex accounts.
• Perform billing, coding support, benefits verification, and prior authorizations.
