Job summary

The Orthopaedic Center is seeking a highly motivated Registration Clerk for its 1st Floor clinics. This full-time role averages 40 hours weekly, with a Monday start and Tuesday through Friday 10-hour shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and one rotating weekday off.

You will greet patients, handle check-in, schedule appointments and collect co-payments. Qualifications include HS/GED and Customer Service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS/GED is required.
• Customer Service Representative experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Outstanding organizational, time management and writing skills.
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
• Independent, self-starting and highly motivated.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist with check-in duties for patients presenting for appointments.
• Check out patients to include scheduling appointments and collecting co-payments.
• Assist other offices with coverage issues when needed and any other duties assigned.
• Communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.
