Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking a patient access support professional to ensure accurate patient accounts, verify insurance, and explain financial responsibilities within the Patient Access Department. The role includes processing payments and securing consent on required notices.

Ideal candidates have experience in healthcare revenue cycle, a GED or high school diploma, and familiarity with Epic systems; prior revenue cycle or related clerical roles are valued.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or related clerical/finance/retail/customer service.
• 3 years healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as patient-facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare.
• Ensure patient accounts have valid insurance coverage and up-to-date demographic/clinical data.
• Calculate patient financial responsibility and present payment options.
• Process patient payments and secure consent on required forms/notices.
