Job summary

YKHC Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a detail-orientedregistrar to enter outpatient visit registrations, primarily for Community Health Aide Program and direct encounters. Accuracy and timeliness directly impact revenue for the organization.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer literacy, and the ability to type 45 words per minute. Prior experience with MS Word and office equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literacy required.
• Typing 45 w.p.m., 10-key by touch.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Interpersonal and communication skill required to interact with medical personnel on a routine basis.

Responsibilities

• Enter registration information for outpatient visits for all patient services provided by YKHC, primarily Community Health Aide Program and direct outpatient encounters.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry to support revenue and operations.
• Meet monthly deadlines to ensure prompt reimbursement.
