Job summary

Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a Patient Registration Clerk at St. Mary’s in Bethel, Alaska. The role handles entry of outpatient registration data for diverse patient services and supports revenue integrity with precise, timely data entry and coordination with clinical staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, computer literacy, and typing speed of 45 wpm. Preference for Yup'ik speakers, with on-site full-time hours and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Six months IBM or compatible computer system experience or college credits for MS Word.
• Alphabetical and numerical filing experience.
• Experience working with printer, photocopiers, fax machine, multi-line phone systems.
• Typing 45 w.p.m., 10-key by touch.
• Ability to speak Yup'ik preferable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Accuracy and dependability a must.

Responsibilities

• Enter registration information for outpatient visits for all patient services, currently mainly Community Health Aide Program and direct outpatient encounters.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry to support revenue processing and patient flow.
