The University of North Texas (UNT) Student Health and Wellness Center is a full-service medical center offering all UNT students general wellness and specialty medical care. We are staffed with licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified lab technologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed nurses, and medical assistants.
The Patient Access Specialist will perform clerical duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures. Duties may include scheduling appointments, billing patients, appointment check-in and check-out, answering phones, and compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
