McKesson Corporation is hiring a Patient Access Specialist in Cary, NC. This hybrid role requires candidates to be in the office twice a week and involves managing benefits investigations, prior authorizations, and patient refill coordination.
The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in a pharmacy, with a high school diploma and proficiency in insurance eligibility processes. A competitive compensation package of $24-$25 per hour plus bonus is offered.

The Patient Access Specialist, Rare/Orphan will be responsible for benefits investigation, prior authorization support, and claims adjudication, as well as refill management and delivery coordination functions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The target budget for this role is between $24 and $25 an hour with a 5% bonus.
This is a hybrid role. Candidates will be required to be in the office twice a week and must live within a drivable distance of our Cary, NC location.
Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
High school diploma required.
CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) preferred, not required. Must be current, without restrictions, and in good standing.

Our Base Pay Range for this position: $17.99 – $29.98.
