Responsibilities include accurate data collection, insurance knowledge, communication about financial obligations, and collaboration with scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of customer service or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collects, analyzes and records demographic, insurance/financial and clinical data in the computer system.
• Maintains knowledge of insurance verification and plans.
• Answers telephone calls promptly and directs messages professionally.
• Educates patients about financial obligations using POS and estimates.
• Supports performance improvement and strives to exceed customer expectations.
• Registers patients through self-service and central scheduling coordination.
