Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Full-time Pre-Registration Clerk to support day shift operations. This role focuses on accurate pre-registration, patient greeting, and efficient check-in to reduce wait times and improve satisfaction.

You will collect and verify demographic and financial information, register scheduled patients, and reconcile liabilities while providing excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years clerical experience in a medical field preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately completes the pre-registration process to reduce patient wait time and promote efficient arrival/check in.
• Contact and register all patients with scheduled procedures and visits.
• Update patient records, demographic and financial information.
• Greet patients and check in into computer system and complete registration if not pre-registered.
• Collect, process and reconcile patient liabilities.
