Job summary

Westfields Hospital & Clinic is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join the patient access team at their New Richmond campus. The role involves admissions, check-in, registration, and scheduling functions, as well as handling inquiries via telephone, email or fax.

Responsibilities include confirming appointments, pre-registering patients, validating demographics and insurance, posting co-pays, and assisting with follow-up appointments.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and appropriately schedules patients.
• Check in patients for their appointments and direct them to the appropriate location.
• Provide required forms and assist with completion of patient forms.
• Collects and posts patient co-pays/deductibles/balances.
• Assists patients with follow-up appointments at check out.
• Covering Emergency Room registration desk with shift timing options.
