Qualifications

• California Fire and Life Safety Card required within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare registration.
• Demonstrated outstanding customer service experience.
• Clerical and computer experience.
• Experience with State, Federal and other regulatory compliance incl. Medicare Secondary Payer, EMTALA, ABN.
• Track record in organizing and planning.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments from simple office visits to complex procedures.
• Obtain and verify demographic, insurance, and medical information for reimbursements.
• Identify services requiring authorization and referrals.
• Coordinate schedules with multiple providers and resources.
• Document information timely and accurately while delivering frontline service.
