Job summary

You will ensure HIPAA compliance, handle financial discussions, and support referrals and pre-certifications as needed, contributing to a smooth patient workflow and care delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare front desk or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of patient registration, insurance details and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, verify demographics and check-in for appointments.
• Communicate insurance responses and assist with primary/secondary/tertiary coverage.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and complete requisite forms with patients.
• Explain financial obligations and collect fees as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform medical record maintenance per HIPAA.
