Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong computer experience and multi-tasking ability.
• Professional interaction with patients, public and staff.
• Experience in health field is desirable but not essential.
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Open reception and waiting rooms by 6:45 am.
• Answer and manage all calls on the switchboard.
• Develop proficient skills within the EMR and supporting programs.
• Liaison between patients and clinical staff and inform patients of delays.
• Check in and register all patients with courtesy and professionalism.
• Review daily schedules and manage annual paperwork and CCM lists.
• Monitor waiting room and remind patients to check in.
• Verify and update patient insurance information and scan cards.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Collect co-pays and record transactions; support revenue cycle.
