Qualifications

• Excellent communication and outstanding customer service and listening skills.
• Critical thinking, sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills essential.
• Must be team-oriented, open minded, flexible, and willing to learn.
• Need the ability to type 40 WPM and process basic Microsoft Office, Outlook and Word experience.
• Ability to utilize Epic Cadence efficiently and pass Epic scheduling test.
• Bilingual skills a plus.
• CHAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers all telephone calls within your work assignment as designated by leadership.
• Evaluates non-scheduling related patient inquiries including clinical inquiries and routes accordingly.
• Assesses caller needs and provides appropriate resolution, escalating to RN triage or clinics as needed.
• Uses Salesforce and Genesys to optimize patient interactions and workflow.
• Monitors areas of concern relating to Epic build issues and suggests resolutions.
• Adheres to Epic-based workflows and scheduling requirements across departments.
• Documents appointment details accurately and informs patients of critical visit information.
• Supports revenue cycle through patient insurance registration and explaining financial responsibilities.
• Handles point-of-service collections via secure payment systems.
• Guides patients through Rush campus navigation and billing procedures.
• Protects patient privacy and confidential information.
• Contributes to a positive team environment and high service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
