Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in a healthcare role or one year in a medical/billing/fiscal setting preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient access for all phases of the revenue cycle from scheduling and registration to referral and denial management.
• Register patients and verify insurance eligibility and demographic information.
• Explain financial responsibilities and obtain necessary authorizations where applicable.
• Gather and record information to support data collection, billing, and reimbursement.
• Collaborate with medical staff and insurance carriers to facilitate patient care and payment processes.
