Patient Access Representative (Oklahoma City, OK)

Join our team at Breg as a Patient Access Representative in Oklahoma City, OK. We are dedicated to advancing orthopedic solutions that improve patient lives and support healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
  • Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line system; greet and assist visitors; maintain reception area.
  • Locate and process referrals during patient visits.
  • Check in patients upon arrival, register walk-ins, update demographic and insurance information, and obtain signatures.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and estimate out-of-pocket costs.
  • Collect co-pays and balances.
  • Gather necessary medical records and documentation for referrals and patient registration, ensuring all requirements are met prior to procedures.
  • Process referrals within designated timelines.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Respond to emails, referrals, and correspondence promptly.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scanning claims, mailing, faxing, filing, and managing office supplies.
  • Utilize EMR systems effectively, maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in training to enhance skills.
  • Support department tasks to ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and forms.
  • At least 1 year of medical reception or billing experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for healthcare innovation.
Benefits and Compensation

Work Schedule
