Job summary

ECU Health Physicians is hiring a part-time patient registration specialist to handle patient check-in, verify and interpret insurance benefits, and counsel patients on coverage. The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining medical terminology proficiency and staying informed about third-party payer regulations while delivering courteous patient service.

Qualifications

• 2 years Customer Service is required.
• 1 to 2 years of Registration and/or Billing experience within a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication (both written and oral), detail orientation, organization, and multitasking skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.

$17.00 - $22.86

Other Information

Part-time Position (20 hours/week)

• Every Saturday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12 hours)
• Three or four weekdays: 5:0 0 PM - 7:00 PM
