UTHealth Houston Sienna Multispecialty Clinic is hiring a Patient Access Representative I, II to join their team of professionals in southwest Houston. This role is essential in covering the front desk, and handling multiple in-baskets in a busy clinic, which sees 150-200 patients daily. With 32 providers, this position is crucial to ensuring smooth operations and timely patient care. The ideal candidate will have previous multispecialty experience and be bilingual (English/Spanish).
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Saturdays as-needed

Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring medical necessity compliance, verifying eligibility, and posting payments.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Certification/Skills:
Ability to multi-task.
Proficient typing/keyboarding skills.
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
One (1) year of experience in a hospital or medical business office setting.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
