Patient Access Representative / Emergency Room / Days / 24 hrs

Coordinates the daily operations of assigned area(s).

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinates patient access activities, such as registration, billing, and scheduling.
  2. Assists management in establishing and implementing goals.
  3. Serves as a liaison between clinical and administrative areas to ensure sound working relationships and cooperative arrangements.
  4. Assists in monitoring budgets, staffing levels, quality measures, and/or regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
  • Medical terminology, medical office, and or Acute hospital desk clerk experience preferred. Computer, telephone and customer service skill preferred.
