OakBend Medical Center seeks an ECC Patient Access Representative to provide quality service and support to patients. This role involves greeting customers, ensuring accurate registrations, and educating patients about their benefits. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1-5 years of relevant experience.
The ECC Patient Access Representative is the first line of quality service to our patients and guests. This position serves as the ambassador of service, setting the standard by which all other departments and services are judged.
The main responsibilities include greeting customers, providing the highest level of customer service, ensuring timely and accurate registrations, completing benefit verifications, educating patients regarding benefits, and obtaining appropriate authorizations for services.
Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Minimum Work Experience: 1 to 5 years of previous business office related experience.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills required; typing speed of 35 wpm.
