• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Reliable with infrequent unexpected call outs; references required.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are currently hiring for a Patient Access Representative. Duties will consist of checking-in patients, guiding patients to the appropriate rooms, verifying insurance, working in Epic, and completing demographic information as well as other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a positive, warm and welcoming safe space for patients.
• Take inbound calls regarding appointments, verify patient insurance, assist patients with care inquiries regarding next steps, referrals and appointments, and collecting demographic information.
• Manage the patient flow: confirm appointments, register patients, assist patients in completing forms.
• Complete strong and clear documentation in the Epic system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of relevant experience in patient intake, registration, or reception.
• Must have experience working in Epic.
• Must be able to work full time hours Monday thru Friday within the hours of 8AM-5PM CST.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Must have strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Must be reliable for work with infrequent unexpected call outs, we will require references previous to hire.
• Must strong customer service skills.
