Responsibilities:
  1. Facilitate the process between new patient registration, insurance verification, and referral management. Act as a liaison between physician practices and patients to ensure patients are receiving optimal care.
  2. Must be in commutable distance to Exeter area, with onsite training up to 6 weeks.
  3. Requirements:
  4. High School Diploma or GED.
  5. Responsibilities:
  6. Pre-register patients and verify patient demographics and insurance status. Communicate co-pay, deductible, and/or co-insurance expectations prior to scheduled appointments or procedures.
  7. Manage and review eligibility through Navicure reports daily. Verify billing insurance company and ensure the correct PCP is assigned to the patient; contact patients with inaccuracies prior to appointment and update as necessary.
  8. Coordinate and schedule all new patient visits for Core Practices. Assist patients with navigating logistics such as obtaining medical records and changing the PCP with the insurance company. Communicate updates or roadblocks to practice staff.
  9. Obtain referrals/prior authorization as necessary and schedule appointments with Core Specialists under provider direction.
  10. Identify, track, and address potential authorization and system issues; communicate issues and develop action plans to resolve root causes.
  11. Act as a liaison between patient, practice, and insurance company to address issues and find resolutions. Respond to patient calls and staff inquiries within the same business day.
  12. Grant access to Navicure website as needed and assist in training practice staff.
  13. Partner with the coding department to verify eligibility for hospital-based services.
  14. Act as a patient advocate by assisting patients in navigating our systems.
