Job summary

Conway Regional Health System is seeking a Patient Access Representative to collect demographic and insurance information from patients or their representatives at the time of admission. You will verify eligibility, confirm co-pays, and ensure accurate data entry into the hospital system.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, prior experience in patient access or date entry, and a couple of years in a healthcare setting are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work experience as a Patient Access Representative or equivalent experience/training in date entry preferred
• Two (2) years in a Healthcare setting, preferred.
• Aggression management training within 90 days of hire.

Overview

The Patient Access Representative is responsible for obtaining all pertinent information, such as demographic and insurance information, that is needed from the patient or representative of the patient upon admission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Previous work experience as a Patient Access Representative or equivalent experience/training in date entry preferred


• Two (2) years in a Healthcare setting, preferred.


• Aggression management training within 90 days of hire

Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.
