Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative for Rehab at the Hanover Street Outpatient Rehab location in Fall River, MA. This per diem role operates daytime hours (9:00am–5:30pm) with responsibilities in office support and patient care coordination within Rehabilitation Services.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (Associate's preferred), strong medical terminology knowledge, proficient keyboarding, and at least three years of medical office experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED is required.
• Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
• Duties require knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficient keyboarding skills are essential.
• Computer experience a must.
• Must possess strong reasoning and critical thinking skills and the ability to multitask throughout the business day.
• Exceptional customer service skills are required.
• Over three years of related medical office work experience is required.
• Vaccination for seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption required after hire.

• Under general supervision of the Team Leader, Rehab Operations, perform a variety of office support, coordination of various patient care processes and other related duties in accordance with established Rehabilitation Services department policies and procedures.

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day shift; 9:00am - 5:30pm

Location: Outpatient Rehab Hanover St. - Fall River, MA

• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $17.86 - USD $28.76 /Hr.
