Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking a part-time Patient Access/Registrar to ensure accurate capture of demographic and insurance data in the Medical Record system. You will coordinate patient information distribution to nursing and ancillary departments and collect co-payments in the ER setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Customer Service or healthcare registration.
• CHAA or CRCS preferred on hire.
• Registrar and third-party payor experience beneficial.
• Hospital patient access or billing, medical office receptionist, insurance office experience useful.

Responsibilities

• Ensures demographic and insurance information is captured accurately in the Medical Record system.
• Prepares and coordinates distribution of patient information to nursing units and ancillary departments.
• Collects patient co-payments, pre-payments and payments due.
• Works with the clinical team in the emergency room setting.
