Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking a Patient Access Clerk to ensure accurate demographic and insurance data in the Medical Record system. You will support ER clinical teams and coordinate information flow across units, while collecting co-pays and payments due.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Customer Service or healthcare registration.
• Preferred: CHAA or CRCS certification.
• Registrar and third-party payor experience.
• Hospital patient access or billing, medical office receptionist, insurance office experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Data Entry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all demographic and insurance information is captured in the Medical Record system.
• Prepare and coordinate the distribution of patient information to nursing units and ancillary departments.
• Adheres to all compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Collects patient co-payments, pre-payments and payments due.
• Works side by side with the clinical team in the emergency room setting.
