Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks a Registrar to perform timely and accurate patient registration, interview patients for account information, and verify insurance coverage. The role includes bedside registration, working with carts/computers on wheels, and ensuring proper documentation and signatures for treatments.

Responsibilities include interviewing patients, verifying insurance, obtaining pre-certification/authorization, collecting patient liability, and educating patients on services and billing

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients at workstations or bedside to obtain all necessary account information.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Verify all insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization.
• Calculate and collect patient liability amounts.
• Ensure signatures necessary for treatments and payment of services are obtained.
• Explain policies regarding services, pricing, insurance billing, and payment of account.
