Qualifications

• 3 years experience in Patient Access.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements, insurance verification, and third-party billing.
• TUH/TUHS training or internship may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and processes patient registration, billing and related information.
• Verifies patient insurance coverage and benefits.
• Reviews registration process with patients and families.
• Promotes a positive patient encounter as the first impression of the Hospital.
