Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and completely.
• Explain payment policies, review accounts for old debts, and collect payments.
• Use hospital information system (HIS) and perform admissions/registration tasks.
• Prepare admission charts and patient cards; route patients to appropriate departments.
• Adhere to Infection Control policies and hospital procedures.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Post-high school training substitution (30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours or 720 classroom hours) for required experience
