Aspire Rural Health System is seeking a Patient Access Clerk for a casual, days-only role in Deckerville, MI. The position involves coordinating inpatient, outpatient and swing bed registrations and guiding patients through admissions and policies at the front desk.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; Medical Office Assistant program is preferred. Candidates must obtain a BLS certificate within 6 months, and must communicate clearly while handling registrations and cash

Mansioni

• Performs registrations for Inpatient, Outpatient and Swing Bed; ensures complete patient information and policy understanding.
• Answers telephone console and routes calls to appropriate person or location.
• Greets and assists visitors, patients, vendors, customers and job applicants to direct them to the proper location.
• Manages cash handling, issues receipts, completes bank deposits and balances cash drawer daily or at shift end.
