Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge (Word/Excel) and ability to touch type.
• Experience with information systems or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients and set up/register patient files.
• Enter charges for clinic services and verify insurance/payment eligibility.
• Obtain patient signatures and collect payments; forward to clinic offices as required.
• Provide information about billing, HIPAA, rights and clinic literature to patients.
• Communicate with supervisors, physicians and coworkers clearly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate patient records and file physician notes and reports.
