Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current computer experience in Microsoft products.
• Previous cash-handling experience.
• Experience in Healthcare Registration is preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification & authorization processes is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Register hospital admissions and outpatient services accurately and compliantly.
• Collect required patient information and verify insurance details.
• Participate in collection of deductibles and co-pays as applicable.
• Perform reception duties: answer multi-line phones and greet visitors.
