Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Patient Access Registrar for the Rehabilitation department in Rockville. You will deliver high-quality patient service, verify insurance details, and manage patient accounts with accuracy.

This full-time role involves day shifts, 40 hours weekly, and collaboration with hospital teams. The position is non-exempt under FLSA, with a pay range of $19.21–$24.90 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a healthcare environment
• At least 1 year in patient registration and/or eligibility
• Some knowledge of government payer rules/regulations
• Knowledge of TPLs, WC, and other payment sources

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent patient service and problem resolution
• Provide world-class customer service and proper phone etiquette
• Coordinate bed placement per hospital guidelines
• Verify insurance eligibility and patient liabilities
• Communicate coverage and obligations to patients
• Escalate issues to management as needed
• Assist training of new team members
• Complete follow-up per department policy
