Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of Patient Access or healthcare registration experience.
• Knowledge of insurance plans, referrals, authorizations, and financial counseling workflows.
• Experience with hospital registration systems (Cerner, STAR, Meditech, or equivalent).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operational & managerial support to the Patient Access Manager.
• Assist with daily operational oversight and departmental coordination.
• Support implementation of new workflows, policies, and process improvements.
• Monitor staffing coverage, patient volume, and service levels; escalate risks as needed.
• Serve as a resource for frontline staff and resolve operational issues.
