LCMC Health is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join our Patient Access teams across the Greater New Orleans area. Roles may be at East Jefferson General Hospital, Lakeview Hospital, New Orleans East Hospital, and more.

Opportunities may include full-time, part-time, and PRN with day/evening/night/weekend shifts depending on location. Our teams provide essential patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient assistance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Patient Access or patient registration.
• Experience in medical scheduling.
• Experience in insurance verification.
• Front desk or healthcare office experience desirable.

Responsabilités

• Register patients and check in.
• Schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance and demographics.
• Collect payments and explain financial responsibilities.

What Does Patient Access Do?

• Patient registration and check-in
• Scheduling appointments
• Verifying insurance and demographic information
• Collecting payments and discussing financial responsibilities
• Obtaining required documentation and authorizations
• Answering patient questions and helping patients navigate their care
• Providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Who We're Looking For

• Patient Access or patient registration
• Medical scheduling
• Insurance verification
• Medical office or front desk operations
• Revenue cycle
• Customer service
• Hospitality, banking, retail, or other customer-facing roles
• Healthcare experience is a plus, but don't count yourself out if you're looking to make the move into healthcare!
