St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID seeks a Patient Access Specialist to provide friendly, patient-centered service at the entrance of St. Luke’s Boise Hospital. You will handle registrations, scheduling and referrals, while explaining insurance coverage and financial options to patients and caregivers.

The role requires using various tools and technologies to support department workflows and may include other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Registration, scheduling, and referral coordination for patients.
• Discussions on financial options and/or explanations of insurance coverage, including authorizations, verifications, and estimates.
• Use a variety of technologies, tools and resources to support departmental workflows.
• Other duties as assigned.
