University Hospitals in Twinsburg, OH seeks a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, verify demographics, insurance, and payments, and help schedule appointments using EPIC.

You will assist with MyChart enrollment, communicate with care teams, and support revenue cycle while delivering exceptional patient service. This entry-level role offers cross-training across departments and opportunities to grow within UH.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication with patients and providers.
• Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and handle interruptions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of confidentiality and PHI handling.
• Basic knowledge of electronic health records and medical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Check patients in and out for visits.
• Answer phone inquiries and schedule appointments.
• Assist patients with MyChart enrollment and use.
• Enter and validate patient demographics, insurance, and financial data.
• Communicate important information to the care team.
• Contact insurance regarding coverage or billing issues as needed.
• Collect copays and other payments.
• Assist with paperwork and forms.
• Process EPIC workqueues and messages.
• Schedule referrals and follow-ups.
• Scan documents into EPIC accurately.
