Qualifications

• Associate’s/Technical degree or related experience preferred.
• Experience with patient intake and insurance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance and collect patient liability amounts.
• Check physician orders and attach them to the patient medical record to ensure correct tests.
• Explain policies clearly and answer patient questions.
• Escort patients to their area or refer patients to an available escort as needed.
• Print and collate paperwork for distribution to units/departments.
