Job summary

Adventist Health Willits is seeking a Patient Access Representative for a per diem role with 10-hour variable shifts. This position is onsite at our Willits, CA location.

Responsibilities include timely patient registration, interviewing patients for account information, verifying insurance and collecting patient liability, obtaining signatures, attaching physician orders to records, and coordinating paperwork and escorting patients as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Associate's/Technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check for physician orders and attaches them to patient medical record to ensure that patients are receiving appropriate tests.
• Choose correct health plan and accurately and research to ensure accuracy when verifying insurance. Enter all authorization information accurately as needed.
• Follows guidelines and instructions from senior staff.

Education

High School Education/GED or equivalent

Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
