Sunrise Community Health is seeking a Patient Access / Medical Assistant at the Monfort Family Clinic in Evans, CO. The role blends administrative and clinical duties, manages schedules, appointments, and patient access, and supports a team-based workflow to ensure timely care.

The position offers regular full-time hours, a competitive hourly wage, and opportunities for CMA certification and professional development.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CMA certification preferred.
• Three to four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate’s degree (AA) in Medical Staff Services Management preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Mansioni

• Provides proper triage for patients.
• Monitors and regulates schedules and walk-in patients.
• Answers, screen phone calls, provides information and schedule patients in the HER system.
• Team based care: collaborates with medical, front desk, providers, clinical staff, and patients to promote access to appropriate care.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with colleagues in other departments.
• Monitors, maintains, and provides follow-up on schedules contacting patients due for a visit when a cancellation occurs.
• Alerts other departments and teams in the event of schedule changes and emergencies.
• Assists and searches for available appointments to fulfill access to care.
• Compiles and analyzes patient needs to develop more effective patient care and prevent delays.
• Outreach to patients who may need to schedule an appointment.
• Contacts patients to remind them about their appointment to confirm or cancel to avoid no-shows.
• Cancels and reschedules appointments.
• Manages templates for day-to-day edits and reschedules.
• Contributes to the smooth operation of practice.
• Returns calls to patients in a timely manner and places outgoing calls as indicated by Providers.
