Sunrise Community Health is seeking a Patient Access / Medical Assistant at Monfort Family Clinic in Evans, CO. The role blends administrative and clinical duties, including triage, scheduling, and coordinating care in the EHR system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CMA certification preferred.
• Three to four years of related experience and/or training.
• Associate’s degree in Medical Staff Services Management preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides proper triage for patients.
• Monitors and regulates schedules and walk-in patients.
• Answers, screens phone calls, provides information and schedules appointments in the HER system.
• Team based care: collaborates with medical staff to promote access to care.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with colleagues.
• Contacts patients to remind or cancel appointments to prevent no-shows.
