The Patient Access Liaison (PAL) serves as the primary field-based patient support representative for Palvella's Patient Support Program. The PAL partners with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and internal stakeholders to provide non-promotional, non-medical education and support throughout the patient journey.
The PAL is responsible for helping patients navigate insurance coverage, prior authorization, appeals, financial assistance resources, specialty pharmacy coordination, and treatment initiation while delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role builds trusted relationships with both Centers of Excellence and community providers to ensure patients receive timely access to therapy and ongoing support throughout treatment.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in rare disease patient services, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy operations, and relationship management, with a passion for improving patient outcomes through education and advocacy.
This position requires approximately 40% - 60% travel within assigned geography as well as overnight travel as business needs require.
Salary Range:$220,000 - $250,000 Annually
Actual salary may vary and will be commensurate with level of experience.
